The Clipsal MX9B318N is a MAX9 MAXBAR top-feed comb busbar rated 100A at 400V, configured 3P+N across 18 modules of 18mm pitch with a neutral terminal block. The MX9B318N takes three phases and neutral at the main incomer and combs them across a row of Clipsal MAX9 three-phase protective devices, replacing the cable tails a traditional switchboard loom needs. It complies with AS/NZS 61439-3 and AS/NZS 3000, and ships with the neutral terminal block for single-row boards or the row that carries the main switch.

The row that holds the main switch has to distribute three phases and neutral across its protective devices, which the conventional cable method makes slow and untidy. A single-row three-phase board faces the same task with no separate incomer row to draw from. The MX9B318N handles this with an integrated neutral terminal block and a top-feed comb busbar that lands three phases and neutral in one pass. Its cuttable configuration lets an electrician trim the bar to the exact module count a row requires.
