This MAX9 surge protection device is a modular surge arrester. It is a 1 Pole surge arrester. It has 1 position switch with contacts type 1 NO + 1 NC. This MAX9 surge arrester is compatible with TN-C, TN-S and TT earthing system. The maximum discharge current is 40kA. The nominal discharge current is 15kA. It ensures protection of electronic devices against destruction by lightning. It is recommended in building supplied by overhead lines and protected. It is also recommended in buildings protected by a lightning arrester combined with a type 2 surge arrester. The tunnel type terminal connection allows rigid copper cables from 2.5mm² to 25mm² (top or bottom). The tunnel type terminal connection allows flexible copper cables from 4mm² to 16mm² (top or bottom). It has a RCM quality lable. The Ue rated operational voltage is 240VAC +/-6%.
