This MAX9 cartridge surge protection device is a modular surge arrester. It is a 1 Pole surge arrester. This MAX9 surge arrester is compatible with TN-C, TN-S and TT earthing system. The maximum discharge current is 40kA. The nominal discharge current is 15kA. It ensures protection of electronic devices against destruction by lightning. It is recommended in building supplied by overhead lines and protected. It is also recommended in buildings protected by a lightning arrester combined with a type 2 surge arrester. It has a RCM quality lable. The Ue rated operational voltage is 240VAC +/-6%. The Up maximum voltage protection level is 1.6kV. The Uc maximum continuous operating voltage is 350VAC.
